Tantalum Rod/Bar are made of tantalum ingots. It can be used in chemical industry and oil industry due to its corrosion resistance. SAM is a trust supplier of tantalum rod/bar and we can provide customized tantalum products. SAM’s tantalum rod is worked cold from ingot to final diameter. Forging, rolling, swaging, and drawing are used singularly or in combination to reach the desired size.
Tantalum rod and bar are mainly used as high-temperature alloys containing tantalum, tantalum-based heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant alloy additives.

  • R05255, tantalum alloy, 90 % tantalum, 10 % tungsten, electron-beam furnace of vacuum-arc melt, or both.
  • R05252, tantalum alloy, 97.5 % tantalum, 2.5 % tungsten, electron-beam furnace or vacuum-arc melt, or both.
