Antioxidant 1076 (CAS: 2082-79-3) is widely used in polyethylene, polypropylene, polyoxymethylene, ABS resin, polystyrene, polyvinyl chloride alcohol, engineering plastics, synthetic fibers, elastomers, adhesives, waxes, synthetic rubber, and petroleum products. It can prevent the thermal oxidation of substrates from degrading solutions. It is also suitable for addition during the polymerization, manufacture or end-use stage of the product. It is often used in combination with auxiliary antioxidants such as DLTP and 168 to exert a synergistic effect, and the antioxidant performance is better. The general dosage is 0.1% to 0.5%.
