Strontium Titanate SrTiO3 Crystal Substrates Description
Strontium Titanate SrTiO3 single crystal has its lattice parameters match most materials with a Perovskite crystal structure, and therefore it is a popular crystal substrate for epitaxial growth of many oxide thin films. It is commonly used as substrate material for superconductor thin films, because Strontium Titanate (SrTiO3) and Y-Ba-Cu-O system (a = 3.89 A) have similar values in the lattice constant.

Strontium Titanate SrTiO3 Crystal Substrates Applications
Strontium Titanate SrTiO3 single crystal has also been used widely for special optical windows and as high quality sputtering target. It is also suitable for different film growth technologies such as Magnet Sputtering, Pulsed Laser Deposition (PLD), Vapourization, MOCVD, CVD, and laser MBE, etc. Films made by these materials and technologies on SrTiO3 substrate have excellent performance, for instance Tc>90K, Jc> = 106A/cm2.
