Micro Boron Nitride (BN) Powder 1000μm Description
Micro Boron Nitride (BN) 1000μm (CAS: 10043-11-5) is a crystal composed of nitrogen atoms and boron atoms. It is a white powder with a loose, lubricating, easy to absorb moisture, lightweight, and other properties, so it is also called "white graphite". The expansion coefficient of hexagonal boron nitride is equivalent to that of quartz, but the thermal conductivity is ten times that of quartz. It also has good lubricity at high temperatures. It is an excellent high-temperature solid lubricant with strong neutron absorption capacity, stable chemical properties, and chemical inertness to almost all molten metals.

Micro Boron Nitride (BN) Powder 1000μm Applications
1. Lubricant: Boron nitride is widely used as a solid lubricant in high-temperature environments due to its excellent thermal stability and low friction coefficient. It is commonly used in metalworking, mold manufacturing, and metallurgy.
2. Thermal Conductive Material: BN powder has good thermal conductivity and excellent electrical insulation, making it ideal for use as a thermal filler in electronic and electrical devices. It can be found in thermal pads, adhesives, and coatings.
3. Coating Material: BN powder can be used in coatings to enhance the corrosion resistance, high-temperature stability, and insulation properties of surfaces. It is applied in aerospace, military equipment, and other extreme environments.
4. Ceramic Material: Boron nitride ceramics are widely used in producing crucibles, thermocouple protection tubes, and components in nuclear reactors due to their chemical inertness and high-temperature stability.
5. High-Temperature Insulation: BN powder is used as an insulating material in high-temperature environments because it maintains structural stability under heat. It is used in aerospace, metallurgy, and glass manufacturing industries.
6. Electrical Insulation: Due to its excellent electrical insulation properties, BN powder is used to manufacture insulating components for high-frequency and high-voltage equipment.
7. Polymer Composite Filler: Boron nitride powder is used as a filler in polymer composites to enhance their thermal resistance, mechanical strength, and thermal conductivity. These composites are used in electronic device casings, optical components, and more.
