MP35N is an austenitic Ni-Co-Cr-Mo alloy with a unique high mechanical strength, associated with very high corrosion resistance. It is able to resist stress-corrosion and harsh environments which often leads to its selection as a fastener or spring material.MP35N resists corrosion in hydrogen sulfide, saltwater, and other chloride solutions. Due to these properties, it is often selected as components and parts for marine environments like, for instance, cables that conduct sensors for measurements in the deep ocean. It is also used in the automotive and aerospace industries.
- Outstanding corrosion resistance
- High strength & ductility
- Good mechanical properties at ambient temperatures
- Excellent resistance to crevice & stress corrosion cracking
