PDS Desulfurizer is a kind of black powder, which can be recycled. It features high activity, stable performance, low unit consumption. it can carry out hydrogenation reactions at lower temperature and pressure, with no corrosion, no pollution.
On the basis of the original cobalt phthalocyanine catalyst, appropriate co-catalysts and promoters are added. Compared with the traditional PDS desulfurizer, it has greatly improved desulfurization, decyanation efficiency, and organic sulfur removal, and has a unique tower cleaning effect and a higher sulfur recovery rate. It is especially suitable for the purification of high-sulfur, high-cyanide, and high-carbon gas, such as the desulfurization process of coke oven gas and shift gas. Its advantages are mainly manifested in:
- High desulfurization and decyanation efficiency: generally ≥98%. At the same time, the highly toxic cyanide in the process can be converted into non-toxic ammonium salt. Desulfurization and decyanation process that turns toxic into non-toxic.
- Removal rate of organic sulfur: Due to the different forms of organic sulfur, the removal efficiency varies greatly depending on the alkaline medium, and its efficiency can still reach more than 50%. If the removal effect of mercaptan and carbonyl sulfide is good, it is not effective for thiophene.
- High sulfur recovery rate: the sulfur foam produced by this method is easy to float and separate, and the recovery rate is ≥85%.
- Low alkali consumption and no desulfurization waste liquid that needs additional treatment.
- Cleaning the sulfur foam adhered to the pipes and fillers is also a remarkable feature of this product, which can prolong the service life of the equipment. The principle is its own small particle size, large surface area and high activity catalytic activity. The direct effect is that the tower will not be blocked, and there is no need to clean the packing, tower walls and pipes even during maintenance.
- Low dosage: every ton of hydrogen sulfide removed consumes about 0.7-0.9 kg of this product. Due to the selection of compatibilizer, the sulfur capacity of this product has been greatly improved.
