LaBr3 (Ce) Scintillation Crystal Description:
LaBr3 (Ce) Scintillation Crystal is a new type of scintillation crystal material. LaBr3 (Ce) scintillator is a salt compound of lanthanum and bromine and one of a new generation of inorganic scintillator based gamma radiation detectors. It has 1.3-1.7 times light outputs than that of NaI: Tl, and the decay time is 1/20 of NaI: Tl. Lanthanum Bromide scintillator provides an excellent energy resolution for a scintillator. LaBr3(Ce) scintillators have fast light output decay times that provide excellent energy resolution performance.
LaBr3 (Ce) Scintillation Crystal Advantages:
- High light outputs
- Best energy resolution
- Fast emission
- Excellent radiation hardness
- Fast decay times
