S20910 Stainless Steel Powder Description
S20910 Stainless Steel Powder is a high-strength austenitic stainless steel alloy known for its excellent corrosion resistance, particularly in harsh environments. It contains significant amounts of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, along with nitrogen, which contributes to its high strength and corrosion resistance. S20910 Stainless Steel Powder is manganese alloyed austenitic stainless steel with improved corrosion resistance compared to 316L and 317L due to increased chromium content plus about twice the yield strength of the same at room temperature. The alloy is typically used for automotive, oil/gas, chemical processing, nuclear and general-purpose applications.
This metal powder is manufactured by Inert Gas Atomization (IGA), producing a powder with a spherical morphology that provides good flow characteristics and high packing density.
