434 Stainless Steel Powder Description
434 Stainless Steel Powder is a low-carbon ferritic steel powder with improved corrosion resistance. It is often used for applications requiring moderate corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and good formability. However, it is not as corrosion-resistant as some other stainless steel grades, such as the 300 series (e.g., 304 or 316 stainless steel).
This metal powder is manufactured by Inert Gas Atomization (IGA), producing a powder with a spherical morphology that provides good flow characteristics and high packing density.

434 Stainless Steel Powder Applications
434 Stainless Steel Powder can be utilized in various applications, including additive manufacturing processes like selective laser melting (SLM) or powder bed fusion (PBF). In these processes, the powdered form allows for the production of complex, three-dimensional parts with properties similar to those of conventionally manufactured AISI 434 stainless steel components.
