Metal Injection Molding Feedstock 8740 (MIM) Description
Metal Injection Molding Feedstock 8740 (MIM) is widely used as a material of choice for metal injection molding due to its combination of strength and toughness. Hot Isostatic Pressing of parts previously fabricated by metal injection molding has been shown to result in property improvements.
Metal Injection Molding (MIM) means using metal powder as raw material, adding composite particles of polymer materials in the mixing and refining process, and using the "forming + sintering" method to manufacture materials and product powders materials, so as to be applied to precision structural parts. MIM can realize the integrated manufacturing of parts of different materials. It has the characteristics of wide material adaptability, a high degree of automation, and a high degree of batch production.
