Silicon carbide (SiC) is a lightweight ceramic material with high strength properties comparable to diamond. It has excellent thermal conductivity, low thermal expansion, and is resistant to corrosion from acids. Silicon carbide is an excellent ceramic material for applications requiring good erosion and abrasive resistance. Consequently, silicon carbide seal ring is useful in a variety of applications including spray nozzles, shot blast nozzles and cyclone components.
Silicon carbide is an excellent material for sealing rings and bearings. Silicon carbide seal rings have excellent corrosion resistance, great mechanical strength under high temperatures and great wear resistance. We supply multiple sizes of silicon carbide rings as well as other SiC parts.
